Wendy Williams Says Beyoncé Talks Like a 5th Grader

Beyoncé has a HBO documentary coming up about herself, staring her as actor, director and producer. It’s all fine and dandy but Wendy Williams she’s going to need captions because Beyoncé talks like a 5th grader.

She’s a businesswoman, a world famous singer and a fashion icon, and although she seems like the perfect one, Wendy Williams found a flaw. During a taping of “The Wendy Williams Show” the host started taking hits at Beyoncé and her upcoming documentary on HBO and telling her audience the “Single Ladies” singer “can’t talk”.

“I am a Beyoncé fan. I’m going to be watching this documentary even if she doesn’t introduce us to new stuff. I’m watching” said Wendy Williams of the documentary Beyoncé says it is going to be “raw, real, revealed”.

“I’m watching because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning, so I’ll be able to understand what she says” Wendy Williams started. “You know Beyoncé can’t talk. Beyoncé sounds like she has a fifth-grade education. She can’t talk” the host added, while her audience reacted with a collective boo.

Things didn’t end her. Offended by her audience’s reaction, Wendy Williams continued saying Beyoncé can’t talk better than a 5th grader. “Excuse me! I just said I was a fan, but we have to call a spade a spade. I mean… honestly. And we really do have the closed captioning just for times like that” she said.

While fans are angry, a source close to “The Wendy Williams Show” says that she’s not going to back down although the 5th grade education comments have been “blowing up on Twitter”. “She says how she feels and she’s always been incredibly honest in her life. She’s a huge Beyoncé fan. Wendy doesn’t think anything of it; it’s everyone else who does” an insider told the Daily News.

In the meanwhile, Beyoncé is doing just fine (it’s not like this is the first time a fan criticized her). She recently signed a $50 million deal with Pepsi and this time around the new deal promises to take things further: Beyoncé will be featured in a new TV ad, will perform at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show (sponsored by Pepsi) and there will even be soda cans with her face (limited edition, though).

  1. i agree she is not the most articulate speaker she sounds like shes in the hood gheto sound but her singing voice and dance is quite awsome just outstanding one of a kind

  2. Speech and voice coaching, weight and fitness coaching, etiquette coaching, and writing coaching are assets. In addition, a life coach may conduct private sessions. Furthermore, a confidentially contract may be signed for privacy. Personally, I respect people where they are in life. I may have spoken privately sharing my thoughts…undisciplined comments embarrass people on a national level. Empathy is wealth worth sharing.

  3. I like Beyonce, she is very talented. I love how she dances, she has a wonderful voice but……why do people get so offended when Beyonce is criticized about something. She is not above being talked about. Again, I love Beyonce, America is the land of free speech and it is Wendy Williams right to say what she wants to say. That is who she is Love her or Hate her.
