Despite the sex scandal she was involved lately, “Twilight” star, Kristen Stewart managed to get all the public’s attention at Toronto Film Festival. As soon as she stepped on the Red Carpet, the actress was surrounded by fans asking for pictures and autographs, Reuters relates.

Ever since she confessed her relationship with director Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart has met with both fans’ criticism and support. On Thursday, however, the actress made her presence felt at the Toronto Film Festival and she was immediately surrounded by fans who wanted to get autographs from her.

This was the first public appearance that Stewart has made in the past two months. She refused to release any more interviews after her separation from “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson made headlines in tabloids.

The “Snow White and the Huntsman” protagonist showed up at the prestigious film festival in order to promote her latest motion picture “On The Road”. Based on the classic novel of Jack Kerouac, the movie is expected to receive good critics during the festival. Kristen, herself, was very passionate about her recent project because the novel is her favorite book. She told the press, that she first read it when she was 14 years and loved it ever since.

Unlike her previous public appearances, Kristen opted for an ultra-feminine and elegant gown. She was wearing a floral dressed signed by Zuhair Murad and her long tresses were gathered in a high ponytail. Even though she looked very confident in the presence of the press, Kristen preferred to spend most of her time with fans as they provided her the support she needed to face the questions that reporters were asking about her former boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. She kept mum most of her time; when asked how she was coping with the recent criticism, the actress replied that she was fine and headed towards the crowd of fans.
