Toshiba Refreshes its Products

It looks like consumer-electronics company, Toshiba, has decided to refresh its Satellite C, L and S series, as well as its Fusion and Radius touchscreen convertibles, starting with the price of 395 dollars.

As everyone knows, Windows 10 will be available starting with July 29 and together with its release, several new laptop options will be ready to make the most of Microsoft’s latest operating system. Toshiba is getting ready for this launch and decided to refresh its mainstream Satellite laptops, which also include two-in-one convertibles and traditional clamshell designs. 

Getting ready for Windows 10, Toshiba also included dual-array microphones, which are important for using Microsoft’s Virtual assistant, Cortana, but also added a discrete key to summon Cortana with a button press.

Toshiba declared that its 15.6-inch laptops also continue to be a very popular products for buyers, that’s why they decided to refresh the line. This means that customers who are in search for something superlight and superthin to take back to school, probably won’t find in this refreshed line. This doesn’t mean that the Satellite line are all clunky and big, but most of these products are designed to be used in the office or at home and less for travelling to school and to other places.

To be mentioned that the entry-level Satellite C Series weighs approximately 5 pounds and has 23.6mmm. These models are available in 15.6 and 17.4 inch version, with 1.366×768-pixel resolution. As for configurations, Satellite C Series comes packed with AMD processors up to an A8 and Intel chips up to Core i5. They will also be available with up to 8GB of system memory and hard-drive storage up to 1TB. Other features that customers could opt for are USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, a full-size HDMI output, a DVD SuperMulti drive, and SD card slot and 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. To be said that the pricing will start from approximately 395 dollars and the products will be available from June 21 with Windows 8.1 preinstalled. However, the laptops are eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10.
