Some socking rumors have been revealed when it comes to famous actor Tom Cruise. According to these rumors, the star is not at all interested in being part of his daughter’s life. Reportedly, Tom hasn’t seen his daughter Suri for no less than 2 years. Suri is Katie Homes’ and Tom Cruise’s 9 year old daughter. 

The news was first reported by the National Enquirer, which cited a source revealing that the famous actor has not even tried to see Suri. Furthermore, the report indicated that Tom and Suri have been in the same city, at the same time, on various occasions, but the actor made no effort to see his biological child. 

“It’s pathetic that despite his wealth and fame, Tom Cruise is an absentee dad. He doesn’t seem interested in being part of Suri’s day-to-day life,” an insider said according to the celebrity site. “Katie does her best to be a hands-on mom but there’s no replacing her father,” the same source added. “He hasn’t been seen in public with his daughter in over two long years – that’s a fifth of her lifetime,” it went on to explain. 

It has been claimed that the Scientology might be the reason why Tom is not that interested in seeing his daughter. Reportedly, following the divorce from Tom, Katie was named a suppressive person by the Church of Scientology. This means that Tom could no longer have a relationship with Katie, although she is the mother of his child. Furthermore, a suppressive person must be shunned. 

Well, since Katie is not a member of this church, Suri is not risen according to its beliefs, thus the rule is applicable to her, as well. Of course, these are just rumors, but it is not the first time when such claims are made. Earlier this summer, another report indicated that while filming for Mission Impossible in New York, Tom was very close to Suri, but he did not visit her. 

Katie Holmes has not talked about the rumors. Tom Cruise remained silent on these claims, as well.
