Most of us are having a hard time depicting Taylor Swift as a wedding crasher. But one of the Kennedy’s says Taylor Swift crashed the wedding of Vicki Kennedy’s daughter. When asked to leave, Taylor Swift had apparently refused causing a commotion.
Being a Kennedy usually brings along enough popularity. But when Taylor Swift comes to your wedding, the bride might not get the same attention. The rumor is that Vicki Kennedy asked Taylor Swift to leave her daughter’s wedding party, so the bride won’t be robbed off her spotlight. When Taylor Swift didn’t leave, Vicki Kennedy branded the singer as a wedding crasher.
Liam Kerr and Kyle Kennedy got married on Saturday. Kyle Kennedy is the daughter of Victoria Gifford Kennedy or Vicky and the late Michael Kennedy. The reception was set at Boston’s Fairmont Copley Plaza and Conor Kennedy was one of the guests too. But Vicky Kennedy says he didn’t send an RVSP to the event. Apparently Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy texted one hour before the wedding ceremony their RVSP.
“They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come” the bride’s mother told the Boston Herald. “I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come’. They came anyway” said Vicky Kennedy.
When the couple eventually arrived at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, Vicky Kennedy asked Taylor Swift to leave, but the singer refused. “I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave” she added. “It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me” Vicky Kennedy concluded.
But Taylor Swift’s camp denies any Kennedy wedding crashing reports. Spokeswoman Paula Erikson for Taylor Swift said “there is no truth to” Vicky Kennedy’s story. “Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there” Erikson added.
It’s obviously many in the Kennedy family are not really OK with Conor dating Taylor Swift. Since his mother Mary Richardson Kennedy committed suicide in May, right in the middle of an ugly divorce with his father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Conor has been seen spending a lot of time with the singer.
