On “Good Morning America” Taylor Swift and Glamour magazine revealed in exclusivity pictures from the shooting session they made for the November 2012 issue. Taylor Swift spilled the beans about some behind-the-scenes details and talked to “Nightline” anchor Cynthia McFadden about how it feels like preparing a shoot.
On October 9, Glamour magazine will release its November 2012 issue featuring Taylor Swift in a breathtaking pictorial. “I love these shoots, cover shoots, because I really just let them do what they want” Taylor Swift confessed to anchor Cynthia McFadden. “I used to be particular about things. I used to ask, ‘well, what are you going to do with my hair…’Now I walk in and I’m like, ‘what you want to do…I don’t care” the six-time Grammy winner added.
The Taylor Swift Glamour November shoot is set on an old train and it kind of combines the 40s and the 70s. “In the context of a train with bags and stuff, it was awesome… no way to get anywhere in that without being noticed” Taylor Swift had to say about the shoot location.
Photographer Ellen von Unwerth had Taylor Swift dress up in several designer outfits, but she chose a gold Burberry sequin tank and a Dior skirt for the magazine’s cover. Glamour aimed with the November 2012 issue to have Taylor Swift channel herself three years ago, just as her career was launching.
“She’s one of those people who everyone relates to so her covers sell really well, but they also just make women feel good” Cindi Lieve, Glamour’s editor-in-chief, told ABCNews.com about Taylor Swift. Glamour had Taylor Swift on its cover three years ago, but this time around Lieve said that the artist wanted to go for “a more glammed up, sophisticated moment”.
“I love clothes and I tend to go through very definitive phases of what I like wearing” Taylor Swift told “Nightline” anchor Cynthia McFadden. “Right now, it’s all vintage dresses, kind of fancy lady outfits. I was getting ready the other night I was like, ‘where are my pearls?’” the 22-year-old star confessed.
