When it seemed that Shia LaBeouf was doing better and was staying away of scandals, the famous actor managed to get into trouble once again. Shia was just arrested in Georgia for disorderly conduct. The whole incident happened on Saturday morning, in Savannah.
The police stated that the actor was taken into custody for obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. The actor was taken to the Chatham County Detention Center. The star was released from police custody soon after, as he paid the $7,000 bond imposed.
Reportedly, the scandal started when Shia approached a person and a police officer to ask for a cigarette. The local police department stated that when he did not receive a cigarette from the two, the actor became disorderly, using a vulgar language. Furthermore, when Shia was told to leave the area, he actually became aggressive toward the police officer. The actor refused to leave.
As imagined, the police officer tried to arrest him given this conduct, but Shia tried to avoid the arrest by running from the officer and hiding into a nearby hotel. “He became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present,” the police’s statement indicated. ”He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer.” “LaBeouf was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behavior continued,” the police concluded.
As already mentioned, this is not the first time when the famous actor is dealing with some problems with the law. We can surely say that the same thing happened in 2015, when he was several times arrested for public intoxication. In 2014, the actor was arrested for disorderly conduct at the Broadway Theater. His most recent arrest dates back to the beginning of the year. So, in January, Shia was arrested for getting into a scandal with a man at an art exhibit. Luckily for the famous actor, the charges against him were later dropped.
Shia LaBeouf was in Georgia filming his latest The Peanut Butter Falcon movie. The movie also stars Dakota Johnson. The famous actor has not commented on his arrest.
