It seems that Lionel Richie is not a fan of Scott Disick. In fact, the famous musician is shocked that his daughter Sofia is dating the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. Furthermore, Lionel is not only shocked, but he actually is concerned because of this.

The statements were made by Lionel himself, who revealed during an interview with US Weekly that learning about Sofia dating Scott has not been simple. Scott Disick has quite a reputation linking him to wild partying, alcohol abuse, as well as sex addition. “Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on,” Lionel said. “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?” he added.

It has been claimed that Sofia and Scott have been a couple for at least a month. They revealed their relationship last month, but the two were also linked during the summer. While being spotted on a beach in Miami, Sofia and Scott were seen hugging and they seemed very close. Sofia also shared a photo of herself hugging Scott on Instagram.

So, initially Sofia and Scott were linked in May. Back then, the two were spotted together on a yacht and they seemed to be quite close. Despite the romance rumors that emerged then, Sofia claimed that there was nothing going on between her and Scott, explaining that they were just friends. Well, soon after Sofia was spotted once again with the star.

“The last time I’m gonna say it. Scott and I are just friends. I’m single and focused on friends, family and work. #againrelax,” she shared on social media soon after. Scott on the other hand has not commented on the dating claims. Scott was actually linked to a series of women throughout the summer, including actress Bella Throne. Since becoming single once again, following the separation from Kourtney Kardashian, Scott has been partying a lot, too.

Scott and Kourtney separated in 2015. The two have three children together. Kourtney has also moved on from the split, as the star is currently dating Younes Bendjima. Scott previously revealed that he still had feelings for Kourtney.
