Police Gathering Evidence for Weinstein’s Arrest

The New York police is allegedly gathering evidence for the arrest of Harvey Weinstein. Some police sources said according to the Los Angeles Times that the rape allegations made against Weinstein are credible and they just have to gather all the available evidence against him to issue an arrest warrant.

So, The New York Police Department stated that it received credible evidence from an actress, who accused Weinstein of rapping her twice. The actress, Paz de la Huerta, allegedly told the police that Weinstein sexually abused her in 2010. She revealed what happened to her earlier this month in an interview with Vanity Fair.

The actress claimed that she ran into Weinstein at a hotel bar in Manhattan. Paz said that she and Weinstein first met when she was only 14, while working at the movie Cider House Rules. She said that until meeting at the hotel bar, she had a professional relationship with the producer and at one point Weinstein actually sent her some science-fiction books, saying that she might be ready for a main role in one of his movies. Weinstein offered to give her a ride home and when arriving at her apartment he demanded to come inside for a drink. The actress said that when he got inside, he started to kiss her.

“Immediately when we got inside the house, he started to kiss me and I kind of brushed [him] away,” the star explained. “Then he pushed me onto the bed and his pants were down and he lifted up my skirt. I felt afraid. . . . It wasn’t consensual . . . It happened very quickly. . . . He stuck himself inside me. . . . When he was done he said he’d be calling me. I kind of just laid on the bed in shock,” the star added.

Weinstein kept on calling her, although she asked him to leave her alone. At one point, he just showed up at her apartment. “He hushed me and said, ‘Let’s talk about this in your apartment,'” she said. “I was in no state. I was so terrified of him. . . . I did say no, and when he was on top of me I said, ‘I don’t want to do this.’ He kept humping me and it was disgusting. He’s like a pig. . . . He raped me.”

Dozens of women have accused Weinstein of sexual abuse. Out of these women, 13 have filed sexual assault reports with the police.

Julianna Margulies Accuses Weinstein and Seagal of Trying to Sexually Harass Her

Famous actress Julianna Margulies has made some new allegations against Harvey Weinstein. The star claimed that Weinstein tried to sexually harass her. However, Julianna is not the first women to make such allegations against Heinstein. However, she is the first to say that she was also in a similar situation when it comes to famous actor Steven Seagal.

So, this means that Seagal is the latest Hollywood star to be linked to sexual misbehavior allegations. The actress talked about her experience in an interview on SiriusXM. The actress said that both bad experiences, involving Seagal and Weinstein, happened earlier in her career. The talented actress was only 23 back then.

She said that she was asked by a female casting director to go to Seagal’s apartment to read a scene at 10 p.m. The director allegedly told Julianna that she will also be present there and she actually pushed the actress to go, offering to reimburse her for cab costs and promising it will be fine. However, as imagined, the director never arrived, so Julianna was alone with Seagal in his apartment.

Julianna said that the meeting with Seagal was very scary for her. “He made sure that I saw his gun, which I’d never seen a gun in real life,” the actress confessed. “I got out of there unscathed. … I don’t know how I got out of that hotel room. … I sort of squirmed my way out,” she went on to add. The actress said that Seagal wanted the meeting to be a sexual encounter and he actually had similar tactics with Weinstein, asking her to allow him to give her a massage.

The actress revealed that after she had this experience with Seagal, she went through a similar situation with Weinstein. This happened in 1996. She said that she was brought by another woman to his hotel to give a screen test for a role. Julianna said that she refused to go to Weinstein’s room alone, so the woman accompanied her. The actress said that Weinstein opened the door in his bathrobe and he had dinner for two prepared in the room.

However, Weinstein seemed furious when he saw the other woman and slammed the door in their faces.

Ashley Judd Talks about Harvey Weinstein in New Interview

Famous actress Ashley Judd decided to open up about her experience involving Harvey Weinstein in a new interview. The actress was actually one of the first women to speak against Weinstein in an in depth article published by the New York Times.

So, during an interview with ABC News, Ashely said that the time that has passed after she talked to the New York Times has been very intense for her. “It’s been an absolutely, tremendously moving two-and-a-half or three weeks,” the star explained during her interview. “I talked with my dad and I talked with my mom and told them I was thinking [about speaking out] and she said, ‘Go get him,'” Ashley went on to add.

Ashley also talked during this interview about the meetings she had with Weinstein and how she constantly had to refuse his advances. The star said that she and the famous Hollywood producer first met at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel about two decades ago. She was asked to go to his room and Weinstein was waiting for her in a bathrobe. The actress said that he asked her to allow him to give her a massage. Weinstein also asked Ashley to watch him shower.

“I fought with this volley of ‘no’s’ which he ignored. Who knows, maybe he heard them as ‘maybe.’ Maybe he heard them as ‘yes’s.’ Maybe they turned him on. I don’t know,” she said. The actress explained that she managed to get out by promising Weinstein that she would help him choose a suit for the day when she would win an Oscar for one of his movies.

When Ashley met Weinstein again, he remembered the agreement. “Remember that little agreement we made. Think I got that script for you. Hey, just looking around for the material,” the producer told her. “I was coming right at him … He looked at me and he said, ‘You know, Ashley, I’m gonna let you out of that little agreement we made.’ And I said, ‘You do that, Harvey. You do that,'” she also added. She claimed that she made two movies with his companies, but she rarely saw him.

Quentin Tarantino Says He Knew about Harvey Weinstein’s Abuses

Ever since the scandal involving Harvey Weinstein broke, a series of famous people decided to talk about this subject. Almost everyone has claimed that they never knew that Weinstein engaged in such behavior. The famous Hollywood producer was accused of sexually harassing and abusing a series of women.

Well, this is not the case for Quentin Tarantino. The Hollywood director said he knew that Weinstein engaged in such misconduct. However, Quentin also said that he regretted that he did nothing about it. The director said in an interview with The New York Times that he knew enough about his longtime friend and collaborator. “I knew enough to do more than I did,” he said.

“There was more to it than just the normal rumors, the normal gossip. It wasn’t secondhand. I knew he did a couple of these things,” the star went on to add. “I wish I had taken responsibility for what I heard. If I had done the work I should have done then, I would have had to not work with him.” Tarantino said that he “chalked it up to a ’50s-’60s-era image of a boss chasing a secretary around the desk. … What I did was marginalize the incidents. Anything I say now will sound like a crappy excuse.”

Tarantino also talked about one incident involving Weinstein. Weinstein actually made unwanted sexual advances towards Tarantino’s former girlfriend, Mira Sorvino. Mira told Tarantino about Weinstein’s advances and unwanted touching. Tarantino said he was shocked when learning about this, adding that he was sure that “[Weinstein] won’t mess with her, he knows that she’s my girlfriend.”

However, Mira was not the only woman who told Tarantino about Weinstein’s behavior. The famous director said that Rose McGowan also told him that she reached a settlement with Weinstein. During his interview, Tarantino said those close to Weinstein definitely knew about these incidents. “It was impossible they didn’t,” he said.

Tarantino has worked a lot throughout the years with The Weinstein Company. In fact, The Weinstein Company has produced all of Tarantino’s films since 1994.

Los Angeles Police Department Starts Investigation against Harvey Weinstein

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has started an investigation against Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein has been accused by several women of sexual abuse and harassment. Some of these women have even raised rape allegations against Weinstein.

So, the LAPD has officially started an investigation against Weinstein. Reportedly, the investigation was triggered by a complaint filed by a model, who accused Weinstein of rapping her in 2013. The model told officials that the rape took place at a hotel. The woman’s name was not revealed. It has only been claimed that she is an Italian model/actress, who is 38 years old. Allegedly, the woman decided to remain anonymous in fear of retaliation and to be able to protect her children.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the model is “well-known in Italy, where she appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue and as an actress in Italian films.” The same publication reported that the woman said that the incident happened at a hotel in Beverly Hills. Allegedly, it occurred after she attended the 8th Los Angeles, Italia Film, Fashion and Art Fest. According to the model after meeting her, Weinstein invited her to his hotel room.

The woman said that she refused the invitation, but after midnight Weinstein appeared in the lobby of her hotel. He asked her to invite him to her room, but once again she refused and told him she would only meet him downstairs. However, Weinstein did not agree and he was soon knocking on her door.

“‘I’m not going to [have sex with] you, I just want to talk,'” the woman said Weinstein told her. “Once inside, he asked me questions about myself, but soon became very aggressive and demanding and kept asking to see me naked.” The woman said that she started crying and asked him to let her go. “He then dragged me to the bathroom and forcibly raped me,” she said.

“He acted like nothing happened,” the woman went on to say. “I barely knew this man. It was the most demeaning thing ever done to me by far. It sickens me still. … He made me feel like an object, like nothing, with all his power.” The woman said she was scared and regretted that she didn’t call the police when it happened.

The number of famous women to bring sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein is growing. The latest star to reveal such a bad experience was actually Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey. The star claimed that she was sexually harassed by the famous producer.

The actress claimed that she felt powerless, she rejected Weinstein and she was threatened not to tell anyone about what happened. Lena opened up about her experience in a series of Twitter posts. The star said that it all happened at the Venice film festival and at a hotel in Los Angeles.

So, Lena first met Weinstein in Venice when she was promoting The Brothers Grimm. The star said that Weinstein asked her to walk with him and she was shocked by his behavior. “At one point Harvey asked me to take a walk down to the water, I walked down with him and he stopped and made some suggestive comment, a gesture. I just laughed it off, I was genuinely shocked,” the famous actress revealed.

She added that she told Weinstein to get back inside. “I remember thinking, it’s got to be a joke, I said something like.. oh come on mate ?!?? It’d be like kissing my dad !! Let’s go get a drink, get back to the others. I was never in any other Miramax film,” she said. However, unfortunately for Lena this was not the only experience that she had to share.

She met Weinstein for the second time at a Los Angeles hotel. She said that although she expected it to be a business meeting, Weinstein actually asked questions about her love life and then asked her to go to his room and look at a script.

“We walked to the lift and the energy shifted, my whole body went into high alert, the lift was going up and I said to Harvey, ‘I’m not interested in anything other than work, please don’t think I got in here with you for any other reason, nothing is going to happen,'” she told him. The star said that Weinstein was furious and made her feel powerless.

The actress concluded that when she left the hotel, Weinstein told her to not tell anyone about what happened. “Not your manager, not your agent.”

Famous actor Channing Tatum has decided to refuse a work project following allegations that Harvey Weinstein sexually abused and harassed a series of women. So, Channing will no longer work on a movie about sexual abuse in collaboration with Weinstein’s company.

“The brave women who had the courage to speak their truth about [Mr] Weinstein are true heroes to us,” Channing Tatum said according to BBC. “They are lifting the heavy bricks to build the equitable world we all deserve to live in,” he went on to add. Channing was working with The Weinstein Company at a movie about a boy who had been sexually abused. The actor was both starring in and directing the movie.

“While we will no longer develop it or anything else that is property of TWC, we are reminded of its powerful message of healing in the wake of tragedy,” he went on add. “This is a giant opportunity for real positive change that we proudly commit ourselves to. The truth is out – let’s finish what our incredible colleagues started and eliminate abuse from our creative culture once and for all.”

Weinstein denied all the sexual abuse allegations made against him. He did admit that his behavior may have “caused a lot of pain” in the past and apologized. A representative for the famous Hollywood producer said that all the sexual relationships that Weinstein had were consensual.

A total of 28 women have spoken against Harvey Weinstein until now. And the numbers seem to grow by the day. Among these women are some very famous actresses and models. Several women talked about what happened to them after an extensive investigation published by The New York Times, claiming that Weinstein has been linked to multiple cases of sexual harassment, including some that have been settled throughout the years. Three cases of rape have also been reported against Weinstein, who is currently under investigation by authorities.

Many stories shared by these women seemed similar when it comes to way Weinstein contacted and made proposals to them. Such a story was shared by actress Melissa Sagemiller. The actress claimed that when she arrived at the airport, she was escorted by the personnel there to Weinstein’s private plane. “See, Melissa, you can’t say no to me. I always get what I want,” he told the actress when she on boarded the private plane. Luckily for Melissa, there were other actors on the flight as well, so she said she stayed with Shane West throughout the entire time.
