The separation news was first reported by Spanish website Cotilleo, which allegedly talked to a source close to the couple. “It’s something serious and she has been the one who has finally made the decision,” the source said without revealing too much additional detail.

Well, US Weekly denied these claims. “They have 100 percent not split,” an insider told the celebrity site. The same source explained that their relationship is as strong as ever. As already mentioned, the two stars have not addressed the rumors themselves, so it remains unclear for the moment if they are really true.

Furthermore, it is quite curious that Shakira and Pique were linked to separation rumors, as the two seemed very much in love. They have two sons together, Milan, who is 4, and Sasha, who is 2. And Shakira claimed during a 2014 interview that she and Pique share real love. “There’s real love, there’s no ulterior motives. And I’m with him because he’s the most amazing man I’ve ever met. We want the same things, we like the same things, we hate the same things. I have never been with someone so passionate in my life,” the singer said.

Shakira also revealed during an interview that she gets a lot of help from her boyfriend when it comes to taking care of the children. She claimed that both she and Pique are hands-on parents and they love to spend time with the kids. Shakira also said that she wanted a big family with Pique.
