He had six children. “One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero, their daddy,” Chester’s wife shared on Twitter. “We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy. How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul?” the statement went on to add.

Talinda and Chester had three children together. The other three children fathered by Chester come from previous relationships of the star. Talinda continued her message by saying that she will try to be strong for the sake of her three children, Tyler, who is 11 years old, and twins Lily and Lila, who are six.

Talinda went on to mourn the loss of her husband, but even more so the loss of her children’s father. “The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left,” Talinda said. “I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy, and I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive.”

The statement continued with Talinda praising her husband for his wonderful soul. “He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice, and now he is pain free, singing his songs in all of our heart,” she said. And there is no doubt in the fact that Chester’s music will always remain in the hearts of people from all over the world.

The shockwaves of grief and denial are still sweeping through our family as we come to grips with what has happened,” the official statement said.

“You touched so many lives, maybe even more than you realised. In the past few days, we’ve seen an outpouring of love and support, both public and private, from around the world,” the statement added. The statement was actually written in the form of a letter addressed to Chester. “Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled—a boisterous, funny, ambitious, creative, kind, generous voice in the room is missing,” it said.

“We’re trying to remind ourselves that the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal. After all, it was the way you sang about those demons that made everyone fall in love with you in the first place. You fearlessly put them on display, and in doing so, brought us together and taught us to be more human. You had the biggest heart, and managed to wear it on your sleeve,” the emotional statement added.

It is unclear what Linkin Park plans to do at this point, now that Chester is gone. This is something that the band also admitted in its statement. The statement said that Linkin Park did not know what will happen in the future.

Meanwhile, the coroner’s office confirmed that Chester hanged himself and claimed that no drugs were found in his Los Angeles home. A half empty bottle of alcohol was found in the room where Chester’s body was discovered. There was no suicide note left behind by the star.

Now, his bandmates decided to pay tribute to Chester by launching the website chester.linkinpark.com, which features a series of contact numbers and sites for suicide prevention.

The new site was launched on Saturday, a couple of day after Chester’s death was announced. “In case you or someone you know needs support, here are some resources,” the site says, adding a list of contact numbers and important information for suicide prevention. The site also has a column where fans can pay tribute to Chester.

Previously, the famous band announced its decision to cancel the rest of its One More Light World Tour, following the death of Chester. At the time of his death, the band was set to perform in a series of locations in the US, as part of their world tour. Since the concerts were canceled, fans were offered refunds.

The reason for Chester’s suicide is of course unclear. The only thing that is known at this point is that no one talked about a note potently left behind by the star. Chester committed suicide at the age of 41 on what would have been the birthday of Chris Cornell, one of his closest friends. Cornell also committed suicide in May. The singer was 52 years old. Chris Cornell also hanged himself.

The famous singer was 41 years old. TMZ reported that the star was found dead at the property in Palos Verdes Estates on Thursday morning. The exact reason why Chester committed suicide has not been revealed at this point. However, it has been reported that he had been dealing with drugs and alcohol addiction for years.

Previously, Chester revealed that he thought about committing suicide because he was abused as a child by an older man.
