The death of famous Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has definitely shocked the whole world and has been a huge loss of all the band’s fans. Following Chester’s death, a lot of people took to social media to pay tribute to the star. His band members also shared an emotional letter addressed to Chester. Now, Chester’s wife released an emotional statement.
Chester and Talinda were married for 11 years. Chester died more than a week ago. He actually committed suicide in his home, hanging himself. Chester was 41 years old. He had six children. “One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero, their daddy,” Chester’s wife shared on Twitter. “We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy. How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul?” the statement went on to add.
Talinda and Chester had three children together. The other three children fathered by Chester come from previous relationships of the star. Talinda continued her message by saying that she will try to be strong for the sake of her three children, Tyler, who is 11 years old, and twins Lily and Lila, who are six.
Talinda went on to mourn the loss of her husband, but even more so the loss of her children’s father. “The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left,” Talinda said. “I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy, and I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive.”
The statement continued with Talinda praising her husband for his wonderful soul. “He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice, and now he is pain free, singing his songs in all of our heart,” she said. And there is no doubt in the fact that Chester’s music will always remain in the hearts of people from all over the world.
