Nicki Minaj’s feud with Mariah Carey is sparking more and more criticism and celebrities are taking sides. Stevie Nicks told The Daily that she would have killed Nicki Minaj by strangling if she had been in Mariah Carey’s shoes.
Whereas show producers are trying to calm things down, the video of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj fighting has only begun to draw criticism. People are starting to take sides and most likely, by the end, of the season American Idol will be more of a judges’ competition. Thursday, “The View” presented Mariah Carey’s side of the story and now Stevie Nicks says he would have strangled Nicki Minaj during that fight.
The feud between American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey drew intense reactions. Some went as far as making death threats. Singer Stevie Nicks calmly told The Daily that she would have strangled Nicki Minaj had she been in Mariah Carey’s shoes. The diva announced she’d have no second thoughts about killing Nicki Minaj, even if it meant going to jail.
“How dare this little girl…If I had been Mariah, I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there” Stevie Nicks said. The 64-year-old former “American Idol” mentor continued her rampage against Nicki Minaj with another potential death threat. “I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it” she told The Daily.
When two divas are feuding, a third one is nearby just waiting for a moment to get involved. Stevie Nicks is currently promoting a new documentary called “In Your Dreams” and a legendary diva knows how to draw attention.
And Stevie Nicks might not be the last star to get involved in this diva feud. Barbara Walters on “The View” presented Mariah Carey’s side of the story. Mariah Carey says she “doesn’t feel comfortable emotionally” but she will not quit the “American Idol” judging panel over the feud.
Mariah Carey also told Barbara Walters that “multiple people heard” rapper Nicki Minaj saying she’d shoot her. “If I had a gun, I would shoot the b***h” Nicki Minaj was reported to have shouted during the fight.
Nicki Minaj reacted via Twitter with a pity message for Mariah Carey. “I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn” said Nicki Minaj.
