Aerosmith’s frontman, Steven Tyler visited the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles for the first time this weekend. His visit was due to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp event which gives people the possibility to prove that they are talented rock musicians, says Rolling Stone.
Although Steven Tyler is surprising and controversial in many ways, it appears that he has never crossed Hugh Hefner’s threshold to the Playboy Mansion until this weekend. This might explain the wistful look and the allusive grin on the singer’s face at the sight of the four lovely Playboy Bunnies waiting to take a pose with him at the entrance.
Tyler told reporters that the reason why he was never present at one of the famous Halloween parties or Midsummer Night’s Dream bashes was because he was very busy. He further explained that the band was either on tour or writing songs, so they always missed the parties. Tyler ironically stated that he “was too busy in someone’s bathroom getting high” in a reference to his past problems.
Although he was never in the Playboy Mansion before, the Aerosmith singer met Hugh Hefner on various other occasions. The “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” interpreters is actually a huge fan of the publisher who, in the rock star’s opinion, contributed to the celebration of the “joys of womanhood”. Steven described Hefner as a true gentleman who is admired by men all over the world every time they read his magazine. Women love it, too, so Playboy should not be seen as a degrading publication.
Steven Tyler is currently busy counseling rock lovers during the Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp. The program presupposes that talented people work intensely for four days to prove rock stars that they deserve to be on stage. The Aerosmith frontman was co-opted for this project last year when his friend, Mark Hudson, invited him to be a mentor in the camp. This year, Tyler promised his students that if they win, they will get the chance to ride around in his car and listen to his new album.
Speaking of his new project, Tyler is very excited about his new singles. According to him, this is going to be one of the best albums because it contains 19 “really good songs”.
