She might not be as popular as Beyonce, but Nicole Snooki Polizi is the sort of celebrity that gets viral attention. Over the weekend, Snooki gave birth to baby son Lorenzo Dominic LaValle.
Earlier this weekend, the tabloid media reported Snooki was in labor. Early Sunday morning, the star of “Snooki & JWoww” announced the world she has a new man in her life, and his name is Lorenzo Dominic. MTV.com confirmed Snooki’s son was born before 3 a.m. on Sunday.
“I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic!” Snooki tweeted this weekend. The mignon reality TV star became a mom for the first time and the experience seems to have been thrilling enough. “I had my little man last night, healthy 6lbs! HE’S MY WORLD!” Snooki posted on her Twitter profile after she delivered.
The star’s spokeswoman confirmed in a statement for MTV.com Snooki gave birth to Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. “The world just got another Guido!!!” Snooki’s rep told the website. “Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great” the rep added.
Sources told the New York Daily News, the birth of Snooki’s son was caught on tape. “They are trying to film (the birth)” said an insider with the “Snooki & JWoww” spinoff. “The hospital was prepped for it” the source added.
While Snooki was preparing to give birth to her baby son, sources kept the tabloid media up to speed. A source told the New York Daily News, the star of “Jersey Shore” went into labor Saturday afternoon. Snooki was taken to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and according to a source everything was “going well”.
The report came shortly after Snooki’s own hint Friday afternoon. The reality TV star told her fans on Twitter: “I’m a balloon waiting to pop”.
After all media took the news Snooki was in labor to viral levels, the star’s spokeswoman Stacey Wechsler confirmed the reports. “Yes, Nicole has gone into labor” Wechsler confirmed and asked “that her privacy be respected”. “We’ll all get to meet her Italian Stallion newborn soon enough” the spokeswoman added.
