Selma Blair has surely managed to create some headlines with her latest behavior. The star has been removed from a plane, after an outburst, reportedly caused by a combination of drugs and alcohol. Selma was taken to the hospital to receive medical help.
The incident occurred as Selma was on a flight from Cancun, Mexico, to Los Angeles. The star was accompanied by her ex-partner, but also by her son. The incident occurred on June 20. Selma, Jason and their son, Arthur Saint, were on a vacation together in Cancun. They were returning to Los Angeles.
TMZ reported that Selma was seen putting something in a glass of wine before she started crying all of a sudden. “He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink,” she said after that, according to TMZ. “He beats me. He’s going to kill me.”
Allegedly, people on the flight wanted to help Selma, including two nurses, who looked into her bag, searching for pills. “She was met by paramedics at LAX as soon as her plane arrived,” an insider told People. “It looks like she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol. We don’t know what sort of prescription medications,” it went on to add.
After the news on Selma’s removal from the flight to Los Angeles emerged, a report indicated that the star was not feeling good before leaving Cancun. She reportedly seemed exhausted. The Daily Mail indicated that it obtained some photos of the star while being on vacation and she was sitting on a stone block on the beach with her eye closed and appearing to be exhausted.
The actress has not commented on these reports and it remains unknown if she has been released from hospital. Selma Blair and her former boyfriend, Jason Bleick, separated back in 2012. However, the two have remained quite close and it seems that they are still friends. Jason seemed to enjoy the vacation with his son, as he shared a series of messages on social media, showing that they were having a great holiday.
