In a recent interview for Vanity Fair, Hollywood blonde Scarlett Johansson says that the nude pics that leaked in September were actually for Ryan Reynolds. She explained that the photos of her naked, taken in the privacy of her home, were only for her husband’s eyes and not for the public.
The new issue of Vanity Fair tells the story behind the Scarlett Johansson nude photos scandal. In mid-September, several photos of Scarlett taken by herself with the cell phone appeared on the internet to the delight of the public worldwide. In a matter of hours, the actress started taking measures and asked the FBI for help in solving this case of privacy breaking. However, she did not comment the photos with the media. Last month, a man in Florida was arrested for breaking into several celebrities’ phone and exposing mostly “nude” content. Among the celebrities hacked by the man, there are Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis. He now faces up to 121 years behind bars.
Now, almost two months after the scandal, she reveals details about the purpose of the photos. The 26-year-old star says that they were taken with one purpose only: to be sent to her husband-by-the-time, “Green Lantern” star Ryan Reynolds. “They were sent to my husband”, Johansson, 26, explains. “There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno.”
Scarlett then talked about her tough split from Ryan, saying that it was a very difficult time for her. “I didn’t really know what to do with myself. It was such a strange time. There was nothing that was interesting to me”, the “Lost in Translation” star, who then added that being a public separation, ti was very uncomfortable for her.
The new issue of Vanity Fair, where you can read the whole interview, will be available starting November 8.
