Actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Angelina Jolie are the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, according to the Forbes Top. Between May 2010 and May 2011, they both made approximately 30 million dollars.

Dorothy Pomerantz from Forbes says that the two stars have been cashing in for big screen movies and TV reruns.

Sarah Jessica Parker has filmed the Sex and the City 2, playing the role that made her famous: journalist and writer Carrie Bradshaw who is in love with two things in her life: New York City and businessman Big. More than that, she embraced the stylish tastes in fashion of the character she played. She has launched a line of perfumes that are proven to be very successful and is starting collaboration – she will be designing clothes – with the fashion line Halston.

Angelina Jolie as oriented more on action movie roles, such as “Salt” and “The tourist”. In “The Tourist” she starred with Johnny Depp and although the cast was great, the movie failed to impress the Americans, earning only 16 million dollars in the first weekend after premiered. However, it was highly appreciated overseas, cashing in a total of 280 million dollars.

Not far from the Forbes Top place of the Mr. and Mrs. Smith star is former Mrs. Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and another blonde America’s sweetheart, Reese Witherspoon who had the lead female role in Water for Elephants. They both have estimated winnings of 28 million dollars within the last 12 months. One of the highest paid actresses until now, Julia Roberts, ranked fifth this time, after starring in the movie “Larry Crowe” which did not receive the attention that was expected. Still, she is one of the favorites.
