Sarah Hyland, the beautiful actress who interprets the role of Haley Dunphy in the famous television series Modern Family, had to earlier leave a work event after being indecently assaulted by a fan.
Reports reveal that the young actress was groped by a male fan while posing for a photo together. It seems that the man grabbed her breast and Sarah immediately pushed him away, screaming. “Don’t touch me there!” the actress said, after which her security guards intervened.
The actress was visibly emotional following the incident, leaving the event early. After this incident, the man was arrested by the cops. It seems that the 29 year old man will be charged for alleged indecent assault.
Soon after the events, Sarah Hyland took Twitter to show her frustration, but also to apologize to fans.
“Sorry to all the fans outside the #quantas event that I didn’t get to say hi to but I had to leave due to an inappropriate touch by a fan,” Sarah tweeted.
Naturally, not only Sarah Hyland was very upset with the events. Her boyfriend was furious, too. Matt Prokop posted a message on his Twitter for the man who assaulted his girlfriend.
“To the a—hole who assaulted Sarah tonight I hope to God you don’t see next week. All Sarah wanted to do tonight was say hit to he girls who were waiting outside one douche can ruin it for everyone. Goodnight.,” Matt Prokop wrote.
Matt Prokop was really concerned about the safety of his girlfriend, so he even accompanied her to filming next day, where Sarah showed up as a professional, leaving the incident behind her.
The Modern Family party was set to take place at the Sebel Pier One, in Sydney. Unfortunately for Sarah Hyland, she couldn’t enjoy the event. The event was attended by Ariel Winter, Sofia Vergara, Julie Brow, Eric Stonestreet, as well as Ty Burrell.
The full cast of Modern Family has been in Sydney, Australia, filming for an episode of the highly successful television series, which is set to air this spring. The special vacation episode promises to be great, so we can only wait to watch it.
