Samsung Galaxy S5 to be Unveiled Today

As reports earlier showed that the newest generation Samsung smartphone will be released on 24th February, fans are surely waiting for the new Samsung Galaxy S5 to be unveiled today. 

The new release is expected to be made by Samsung today at the event the company will held at the Mobile World Congress, which is now an ongoing event in Barcelona. Rumors have indicated for weeks that Samsung will take this event to present its latest generation smartphone. 

The new Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be an impressive product. In fact, various rumors have tried to indicate what the new phone will feature. The Galaxy S5 is expected to come with a 5.24-inch full high-definition display, as well as a fingerprint scanner. A 16 megapixel camera and a water and dust-proof case are other two great features expected in the new device. 

While some features of the new S5 have leaked, Samsung is expected to impress with its latest release. In fact, the expectations from Samsung are huge and the company cannot afford to disappoint. 

Samsung is a top smartphone maker, but it has been revealed that the profits of the company have decreased due to the competition and the saturation of the smartphone market, which is filled with a series of devices. 

So, while many models of very affordable smartphones can be found on the market nowadays, Samsung is expected to focus its efforts on high-end smartphones. However, exactly what Samsung has prepared for its fans will be discovered today.

The Galaxy Gear 2 is the second generation smartwatch that Samsung releases. The device comes with a very important new specification. For its latest release, Samsung chose to replace the Google’s Android with its own operating system. 

Is Samsung looking to gain more independence from the Android? Well, even though it is yet unclear if the company will plan such a move, the Gear 2 is an important step that it makes on that direction.
