Samsung Galaxy S5 Coming to India

Samsung will launch its latest smartphone in India, soon. The company announced that the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in India will actually be made this week.

The official launch in India of the Samsung Galaxy S5 will take place on March 27. Samsung announced its flagship smartphone earlier this month, this actually being a really impressive release.

The flagship smartphone is already in many places around the world and India is just the latest location in which it is going to be released.

Samsung has already started to send invitations to the event. As expected, the company revealed nothing at this point about the cost of the device. Still, some reports indicate that most likely the phone will be priced between Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 50,000. There are also some rumors indicating that the phone may cost less, so it is yet to see the exact price of the new device.

Even though the official presentation of the new smartphone will be made now, it is only going to be available starting with April 11. In fact, this day is the moment when the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in 150 countries.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 was announced by the famous manufacturer in Barcelona, at the Mobile World Congress. Along with this new smartphone, Samsung also presents two new smartwatches. It is not yet clear if these devices are going to be launched at the event in India or not.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be a huge success. The phone comes with a larger display, featuring a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED. Even though the design is similar with the one of the Samsung S4, the phone comes with more features, which make it a very interesting release. Some of these features include a built-in heart rate monitor, as well as diet and exercise records.

The device comes with a great camera, actually featuring a 16MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing camera. Naturally, the new phone comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This is the latest operating system that Google has released for mobile devices. The battery life of the new phone has also been improved, the S5 coming with a removable 2,800mAh battery fitted inside.
