People Magazine reports that Rob Schneider is a father after his wife Patricia gave birth to a baby girl last week. The actor was the first to announce the birth of his daughter through his Twitter account.
The comedian’s reps confirmed on Monday that Rob Schneider’s daughter was born on Friday, November 16 at around 9 P.M. The news was first posted on the actor’s Twitter account, so his followers were the first to find out that the “Deuce Bigalow” star is experiencing the wonders of parenthood for the second time in his life. He wrote that his wife, Patricia and the baby were “happy and healthy” even though the birth was rather troublesome.
According to Rob’s declaration, Patricia was in labor for 19 hours, but doctors were glad to announce everyone that both the mother and the girl were healthy. The child measured 5 lbs., 13 oz. and 18 inches at birth, doctors stated. The 49-year-old actor further added that they will name the baby girl, Miranda Scarlett Schneider.
The couple tied the knot in April 2011 after dating for several months. Miranda is the first child that the two have together, but they plan to have many more in the future. Rob Schneider was also married to London King from 1988 to 1990. The two have a daughter together, Elle, who is now 23 years old.
