On June 26, Rielle Hunter’s book about her relationship with the two-time presidential candidate John Edwards, will be released. Later this week, ABC will air an interview with Rielle Hunter and everybody is expecting to hear about John Edwards’ multiple mistresses.
ABC News obtained a tell-all memoir by Rielle Hunter in which the woman reveals a lot of details about John Edwards’ love for women. In fact, Rielle Hunter says she might have been Edwards’ mistress, but she wasn’t the only one.
The book, “What Really Happened”, is going to kill any chances John Edwards would have ever had to have his name rehabilitated. But Hunter explains the book is in fact meant to help their daughter, Frances Quinn, “have one entirely truthful public account of how she came into the world. After all, this is her story too”.
ABC will air the exclusive interview with Rielle Hunter on “20/20” this Friday. She is expected to talk about her confessions in the upcoming book and explain how she knew about Edwards’ other mistresses.
Rielle Hunter and John Edwards first met back in 2006. According to Hunter, back then the two-time presidential candidate lied to her about him having multiple mistresses and came clean about that detail only years later. Life got pretty complicated for both of them, as Edwards was charged for using donation money to cover up his affair with Hunter, as well as to keep their daughter a secret.
In May, the court came to a ruling and the charges against John Edwards regarding the campaign’s financial regulations were dropped. Five other criminal charges were dropped as the jury couldn’t come to an agreement.
ABC News writes that Rielle Hunter is expected to give more details about the current status of her relationship with the disgraced John Edwards. The book isn’t clear on that matter, although there are several hints that place Edwards in a romantic relationship with Hunter.
“I really have no idea what will happen with us. The jury is still out. But I can honestly say that the ending is of no concern to me anymore” she writes in her book. “The love is here. And as sappy as it may sound, I love living in love” concludes Rielle Hunter.
