Reese Witherspoon has finally agreed to keep her fans up to date with the recent events in her life. The actress talked about her pregnancy during “An Evening With Reese Witherspoon” which was hosted by the Gene Siskel Film Center on Saturday, says Us Weekly.
Although she has been pregnant before, actress Reese Witherspoon admitted that no two pregnancies are the same. The future mom was invited at the Gene Siskel Film Center which was organized in Chicago at the The Ritz-Carlton on Saturday. Thus, it was the first declaration that the actress has made since March when she announced that she was expecting a baby.
The 36-year-old star was just as reserved at the event as she used to be before. However, she confessed that she felt very “round” that evening. Despite this, her cap sleeve Vanessa Bruno dress emphasized her small figure, so you could hardly tell Reese was expecting.
Witherspoon’s confession was followed by the suggestion made by one of the reporters working at Chicago Sun Times. She advised the “This Means War” star that she should refrain herself from consuming the well-known deep dish Chicago pizza, but the actress stated that it is hard considering her large appetite. “I’m always feeling like I’d like to eat everything in sight!” she added.
Reese was pestered with many more questions regarding her unborn baby. Some reporters wanted to know the sex of her baby, while others asked whether the actress has already chosen a name for the child. Witherspoon politely refused to answer their questions, but declared that she is very “excited” to have a child with her current husband Jim Toth. The child is expected to arrive at the end of the summer or the beginning of the fall.
Reese Witherspoon was rewarded with a Renaissance Award at the annual summer gala that was hosted in Chicago. She told the media that she was privileged to be honored in the presence of Siskel’s widow Marlene Iglitzen and his three children. Reese is currently filming for “Devil’s Knot” and announced that she will take a break after this movie in order to have her baby.
