Rachel Uchitel was brought to the public eye by her several love affairs, which paired her with either golf player Tiger Woods or actor David Boreanaz. Yet, recently the 36 years old nightclub hostess seems to be ready to tone down her life of adventures and embark yet again on the official couple’s journey.
TMZ reports that Uchitel and Hahn got married last Sunday. In a recent interview for US Weekly Rachel told the reporter that they “are really happy and feel extremely fortunate to have one another”.
The couple opted for a very small ceremony conducted in Las Vegas at a Little White Wedding Chapel. They only had 12 friends present at the event. The same location was used before by another celebrity. In 2004 Britney Spears married Jason Alexander, in the same place. Their marriage, however, only lasted a few days before being annulled.
Uchitel and Hahn got their marriage license in Nevada, in Clark County after the Las Vegas ceremony and presented it to the court Monday morning at 8.58 a.m.
The couple shares a house in San Francisco and has been living together for several months before deciding to tie the knot.
10 years younger than his wife, Hahn used to be a football player for Penn State.
This is not Rachel’s first attempt to become a married woman. She was previously engaged to James Andrew O’Grady, an investment banker who was killed during the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. During her interviews for VH1 “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”, Uchitel spoke often of the tragic death of her fiancée.
Rachel was married once in the past to her longtime friend Steven Ehrenkranz, a Wall Street trader. Their union was celebrated in 2004 but only lasted for a few months.
