According to a recent report by TMZ, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is hit with another broken marriage. Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof are filing for divorce after nine years of marriage.
Reports read that both Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof have simultaneously filed for divorce. But earlier this August Adrienne Maloof claimed their marriage was not in trouble, but just going through the same hurdles any other marriages today have. However, according to a report by TMZ, Paul Nassif filed for divorce on August 28.
It’s safe to say August was a month of challenges for Paul Nassif. The 50-year-old star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” filed for divorce. Just one day before his father died. Reports say that his wife Adrienne Maloof intended to file her divorce the same day, but sources say she eventually backed off the last minute out of respect for her husband.
In a statement for TMZ, Paul Nassif explains him and Adrienne Maloof “have tried very hard to make our marriage work, but this is the best course for the best of us”. He added the divorce will obviously be a “difficult time for our family and my prime focus is to ensure our boys are well and happy”.
The 50-year-old star also mentioned he lost his father only a day before the divorce filing. “I deeply appreciate the outpouring of support from family, friends and patients. We will get through this” said Paul Nassif.
Adrienne Maloof’s statement is somewhat similar to that of her future ex-husband. “I’m hoping for the best. Our children come first and we’ll see” said Adrienne Maloof also worried about their three children: Gavin,9 and twins Colin and Christian, 6.
“My personality has always been really balanced, and I remember where my priorities lie which is with my children” added Adrienne Maloof. “So when you have that in mind I think everything else kind of falls into place” she concluded.
The Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof divorce comes after almost 10 years of marriage. But it’s hard to say the two of them had a happy marriage. In fact their constant bickering gave the first two seasons of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” something to follow.
