The Olsen sisters were invited to attend the “Full House” reunion which took place on Saturday after 25 years since the movie was filmed. According to Entertainment Weekly, the other actors and workers who took part in the production were glad to reunite with their old time friends.
The image of the innocent little Michelle Tanner, the small girl in the “Full House” series, is what everyone has in mind when thinking about the Olsen twins. Unfortunately, Mary-Kate and Ashley don’t feel the same thing about the first major role they obtained. In fact, the Olsen sisters missed the “Full House” reunion which was hosted on Saturday with the participation of all the members of the cast.
The other actors were saddened by the girls’ absence because they have known them since they were little. Nevertheless, they had just as much fun even though Mary-Kate and Ashley did not respond to their invitation. The former members of the TV series, namely, Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Lori Loughlin (Becky Katsopolis), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), and Scott Weinger (Steve Hale) declared that they had a wonderful time on Saturday and they would definitely love to see each other again in the future.
The actors celebrated by listening to New Kids on the Block singles especially “Step by Step” which was used as a soundtrack for the series. The cake which was served at the celebration was modeled after the shape of the Victorian house which featured in the serial. In the end, they recreated some of the scenes in the film to commemorate the best moments.
John Stamos took care of all the details for the organization of the reunion. He first announced his intentions several weeks ago during an interview with Us Weekly. The actor would also like to create a reunion episode similar to the ones produced by “Arrested Development” and “Roseanne”, but the members of the cast haven’t made up their minds yet.
