Octomom Nadya Suleman checked herself into rehab voluntarily, but what about her kids? Experts fear the kids will have a hard time not seeing their mother for at least one month.
Nadya Suleman has 14 kids, all conceived through in vitro fertility treatments. She recently started her career in porn to put food on the table and keep their house. But apparently the lifestyle and career took their toll, because the octomom checked herself into rehab citing anxiety, exhaustion and stress.
Tuesday, a spokeswoman for Nadya Suleman announced the mother of 14 decided to check into rehab with the Chapman House Treatment Center as of last week. Although according to spokeswoman Gina Rodriguez, octomom has been taking Xanax on prescription she felt she needed a treatment program. Nadya Suleman “will be in treatment for 28 days or more if needed”.
Nadya Suleman’s 14 children will stay without their mom for at least 28 days. Three nannies and two of her friends will take care of the kids during her rehab. The spokeswoman added the kids have a driver who will take them to and from school.
According to human behavior expert Patrick Wanis PhD the children will suffer from their mother’s absence. However, “if Nadya has an addiction problem then she is most likely already absent from her children either mentally, emotionally or even physically” he told Fox News. “Hopefully, the clinic will get to the root cause of her problems and any past traumas, as well as help her find a support system for when she leaves the clinic and goes back to the real world” Wanis added.
Octomom Nadya Suleman is under a lot of criticism for starting her porn career. A recent report from TMZ only damaged her reputation some more. A nanny submitted a complaint with the Children and Family Services in Orange County that the eldest son watched Nadya Suleman’s masturbation video online.
“That report has zero truth to it. The woman Gina Bryson making the claims is a distraught former babysitter who only worked a few times at the house” Octomon’s rep explained. “She continues to try and contact Nadya and the kids even though she has been told not to. She is out to make money and it is very sad when you start making false allegations against the children”.
