For the first time since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes split, Nicole Kidman has decided to speak about her failed marriage and after divorce depression. Nicole Kidman told Australian magazine Who that she’s not involved in Katie’s split from Tom.
For the past few years the media was swept off its feet by the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes romance. Their divorce went viral, as the controversy around Scientology and Tom Cruise’s previous failed marriages made everything look all the more mysterious.
Nicole Kidman was married to Tom Cruise and ended divorcing him. In a recent interview she talked about the after divorce depression and denounced any involvement in the Holmes – Cruise split.
“I got married really fast and really young” the 45-year-old actress recalls of her marriage to Tom Cruise. “Then, when it didn’t work out, I had to really did deep and find my way through depression” Nicole Kidman told Who about her divorce from Tom Cruise.
However, Nicole Kidman says she has no regrets about her failed marriage to Tom Cruise. “It was all part of growing up” Nicole Kidman said about her divorce from Tom Cruise. Their 11-year relationship was “a fantastic marriage for a long period” and it got her Bella and Conner.
Nicole Kidman also talked about her trouble with infertility. “I had tried and failed and failed and failed”, the 45-year-old actress revealed about her attempt to get pregnant. “Not to be too detailed, but I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages and I’ve had fertility treatments. I’ve done all the stuff you can possibly do to try to get pregnant” Nicole Kidman added.
When Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise split, some hinted that Nicole Kidman might be somehow involved. The actress came forward about the rumors and told Who she had nothing to do with the split. In fact Nicole Kidman said she “never spoke to” Katie Holmes. “I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that” Nicole Kidman added.
A recent report says that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were over months before the official split in August. RadarOnline checked out the divorce court papers that read Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s marital relationship had “broken down irretrievably for a period of at least six months immediately preceding”.
