Nicki Minaj Pulls the Plug On Her Twitter Account

For celebrities today being under constant fan and media supervision as well as living under the stress everything can go downhill over night with just one moment of bad judgment is a lot to handle. Nicki Minaj lost control and succumbed only to remind everyone out there stars are human too. Taking a decision that shocked fans, Nicki Minaj pulled the plug on her Twitter account.

Nicki Minaj is among the celebrities with the biggest number of Twitter followers. Even if Lady Gaga carries the crown here with her almost 23 millions little monsters, Nicki Minaj was once upon a time one of the most popular celebrities on Twitter. Now Minaj has just about 11 million Barbz but once she used to have more followers than Oprah. But Minaj pulled the plug on her Twitter account leaving her Barbz severed from dialogue with their favorite artist.

Rapstress Nicki Minaj announced her fans she had enough and left Twitter saying goodbye, and probably good riddance. “Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f*cking bye” was the artist’s last Twitter post. She has another 30 days to reclaim her account back before losing her 11 million Barbz.

Minaj decided to delete her Twitter account after this Sunday got into an intense debate with her fansite over a matter of leaked songs over the Internet. It all began with the artist’s decision to block from her Twitter account following her allegations against them for making available online tracks from her new album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded”.

However, Minaj eventually ended up by taking it all down. “And that’s exactly why I’m paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my Twitter. Smdh – don’t cry 4 me argentina” wrote the rapstress. At the moment, on the Twitter page fans would normally see updates from Minaj, now there’s a blank page carrying the word “CLOSED”.

Don’t imagine Nicki Minaj is the first to ever pull the plug on her Twitter account. Chris Brown, John Mayer, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have all had their own followers on Twitter but decided to drop their profiles.
