The story of Lara Croft, played by Angelina Jolie, will start on the big screen in two years and will be produced by famous Graham King through his company GK Films. Heroine of the ’90s video 
games will come to life in a new series, whose first film is scheduled to be launched in 2013.
The good news ends here for Angelina Jolie fans because American actress is uninterested to play ths role again.
There are rumors saying that Angelina is too old for this new production and the producer Graham King wants to revitalize the story and create “daring new adventures for the young and dynamic Lara Croft”.
So without Angelina Jolie young actresses like Megan Fox, Olivia Wilde or Vanessa Hudgens might be an options for producers.
“Lara Croft “ is inspired by a series of video games named “Tomb Raider”, launched 15 years ago.The game is one of the most popular in the world. Globally they sold over 35 million copies of the game.
Crystal Dynamics Company, a subsidiary of Japanese video game maker Square Enix Ltd., announced in December, last year, the future launch on the market of a new video game series “Tomb Raider”. GK Films company sources said that the new action of the movie will focus more on familyCroft origins and less on the adventures of main heroine.
Paramount Studios has already produced two films inspired by the video game – “Lara Croft: ‘Tomb Raider” in 2001, and “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life” in 2003 – in which the main role was played by American actress Angelina Jolie. The two films had a resounding success and a total gross of 432 million dollars.

Vanessa Hudgens definetly. She has what it takes to pull off this role, i think she’d do fantastically.
Vanessa has the age and look and the shape down for this. On top of working with one of the most prestigious action film makers in the business (zack snyder), she could hack the role. IDK..i’d love to see her land this, but I’m not even sure she’d take it. She’s pretty tough on roles and movies and shes really picky.

Ok,maybe Megan Fox is not as talented as Angelina Jolie,but at least she’s hot and she can look like an action girl (she was amazing in Transformers 1 and 2).
Olivia Wilde is a good actress and she’s also beatiful,she could fit the role.
But me (and my Lara Fan Club) would all rather having Meg as Lara.

Why dont they just invite Alison Carrol for the role? She is the model for TB Underwolrd. I think she is the best option. She has the moves, the look and also more or less she played lara croft.
