Couples’ pages are meant to gather and display all the information that you and your partner might have published on the social network since the very beginning. Whether it is photos that you made together, videos or statuses you can be sure you will find them all on a special page that was affiliated to your relationship.

The best way to verify whether you own a couples’ page or not, is to click on the relationship status that appears on your profile page. You will be automatically linked to a separate Facebook page that keeps track of your relationship evolution.

The new option has been harshly criticized by Facebook users, especially since the information displayed on the page is accessible to everyone. The fact that Facebook did not inform users and ask for their permission before the introduction of the page has contributed to people’s dissatisfaction. The majority of them declared they were “grossed out” by the recent changes that the company has made and expressed concerns about their privacy. Despite this, Mark Zuckerberg hasn’t released any statement in relation to Facebook couples’ pages and it’s very unlikely he will do it in the near future.
