Although over the past few years Christina Aguilera slowly moved away from the media spotlight, she remains a force in the music industry. Her new album is like a rebirth says Christina Aguilera.
Some ten years ago Christina Aguilera was taking the music industry by storm. The 31-year-old star is now preparing to promote her new album which she describes to be a sort of rebirth. She might have had a great time doing “Voice” but only two years ago her love life took a dramatic change as her marriage fell to pieces.
Since Aguilera’s last album was released “The Voice” a lot has changed in her life. Others would simply say life just happened. Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman filed for divorce in 2010 after only five years of marriage. The couple has a 4-year-old son, Max.
“I’ve been through a lot since the release of my last album, being on, having had a divorce. This is all sort of a free rebirth for me” explained Christina Aguilera of her new album. “I’m embracing many different things, but it’s all feel-good” she added of the album she describes as “superexpressive” and fun, inspired by moments when she felt “supervulnerable”.
For the moment being, Christina Aguilera’s new album doesn’t have a release date or an official title, but it features collaborations with Max Martin and “Voice” coach Cee Lo Green.
The artist already released a single of her upcoming album, called “Your Body” which was produced by Max Martin, the genius behind the Maroon 5 hit “Moves Like Jagger”. The new Christina Aguilera single sounds so good it got appraisal even from Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine. At a recent “Voice” press conference, Adam Levine told Christina Aguilera she hates her “because it’s so good”.
Christina Aguilera will perform the new single on September 17 on NBC’s “Voice”. In the meanwhile she’s been working on the video for her new single “Your Body” and gave fans a racy shoot of a leg dressed in a fishnet stocking-clad and donning a pink high heel shoe on Twitter. “Its finally here – MUSIC VIDEO shoot day!!!!!!! Get ready guys!!!!!” tweeted Christina Aguilera”.
