Michelle Duggar suffered a miscarriage

Us Weekly wrote this morning that Michelle Duggar suffered a miscarriage and lost her 20th unborn child. The news was immediately shared by the majority of the websites, thus capturing the media’s attention. Eat your heart out, Kim Kardashian! Or Kourtney. Or Khloe… I mean, one of the KK sisters.

If you’re having problems, like me, remembering who in God’s name is Michelle Duggar, this might help you: Michelle and her husband, Jim Bob, are the protagonists of the TLC series “19 Kids and Still Counting”. The reality TV show portrays the day to day existence of the couple and their 19 children. The name of the show was changed repeatedly as a new member of the family was born.

Michelle was now pregnant with her 20th child when she found out the terrible news. The baby was found dead during a routine doctor’s appointment meant to determine the child’s gender. According to Bob’s declarations, Michelle is now resting at home being surrounded by the support of the entire family. The Duggars received many positive thoughts from the viewers of the show and Jim wanted to thank everyone for their help. At the end of the official statement, Bob asked the press to respect his wife’s privacy during this difficult period.

Michelle’s 19th pregnancy was a little bit difficult, too, because Josie was born premature in December 2009. Michelle and Jim declared back then that the respective experience was the “scariest thing” they have gone through, but everything turned out well in the end. In fact, Josie is now two years old and the entire family considers her to be a “miracle”.

Fans and reporters often asked the Duggars whether they would consider having more children after all they’ve been through when Josie was born. Michelle didn’t provide a definite answer, but her reply made everyone understand that she will not stop having children.

During the brief statement she made to the media, Michelle told reporters that the kids were all disappointed to hear the saddening news. The baby was supposed to be born in April 2012, so the rest of the family was looking forward to the due date. The 45-year-old star plans to hold a funeral for the unborn baby.
