Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris Says She’s A Victim Of Bullying

The controversial decisions that Michael Jackson took to keep his children safe from the media seemed quite confusing for them. Paris Jackson started a few days ago a series of confessions in an interview with Oprah about her childhood. Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris revealed she is a victim of bullying in school.

Many kids today are forced to live through humiliation and bullying on a daily base. Their peers’ decision to bully them is puzzling and at times overwhelming. In fact, with Paris Jackson saying she is a victim of bullying too, it becomes obvious that bullying is a problem nowhere near resolution.

In an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, the 14-year-old Paris Jackson talked about her life. Truth be told, at only 14, Paris has a lot going on. She just finished shooting for “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys”, is trying to come to terms with her father’s death and familiarize herself with the perspective of a new home and living with her 82-year-old mom.

Michael Jackson’s daughter told Oprah she is now a student at a private school, which did help her have a “better social life”. However, she had to put up with a lot of bullying, both at school and online. “A lot of people don’t like me” said Paris. “Kids at school talk so bad about me behind my back” but adds she doesn’t care anymore.

“If I feel someone is being fake to me, I will just push away” said Paris. “People try, but it doesn’t always work. At school and some people try to cyber bully me. They try to get to me with words, but that doesn’t really work” added the young actress.

Although many believed that Michael Jackson’s kids had a nice childhood and a happy life, only because of their dad’s celebrity, Paris’s interview with Oprah showed a gloomy perspective. Growing up, she said, they had “a normal childhood, including trips to the children’s arcade and restaurant Chuck E. Cheese”, however Michael Jackson worried they’d never “really have a childhood”.

“He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that” revealed Paris.
