Michael Clarke Duncan Of “The Green Mile” Is Dead

The world of show biz is wearing black again in the memory of another beloved colleague. Michael Clarke Duncan of the famous movie “The Green Mile” died yesterday at the age of 54.

The gentle giant, as Michael Clarke Duncan used to be called, passed away after two decades of acting. Former body-guard of well known Hollywood stars such as Will Smith and Jamie Foxx, Michael Clarke Duncan died yesterday at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

According to sources close to him, Michael Clarke Duncan was receiving treatment for a heart attack he had suffered recently. TV star Omarosa Manigault, his fiancée asked for privacy in this period, leaving other details regarding Big Mike’s ceremony for later on.

“The Green Mile” star died, leaving behind a career full of nominations and awards. It was Michael Clarke Duncan’s impressive physique that helped him act in so many movies. He was part of different casts such as “Daredevil” or sitcoms like ”Two and a Half Men,” and ”The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”. His calm and soothing voice was also used in family productions like “Kung Fu Panda”.

Michael Clarke Duncan’s death, brought sorrow among many and of his colleagues. Tom Hanks, star of 1999’s “The Green Mile” said he was “terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike”. “He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of ‘The Green Mile.’ He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned” Tom Hanks said of his former co-star.

Famous boxer Lennox Lewis and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban also expressed their sorrow over Michael Clarke’s death.

During his life he strongly fought for animal rights, even appearing in a PETA video. Michael Clarke Duncan passed away as a convinced vegan for more than 3 years. He even stated in an interview that this was one of his best choices and that he’s healthier and feels much better after he had thrown away $5.000 worth meat products.

After acting in some of the best movies in history like “Armageddon”, “Breakfast of Champions,” ”The Whole Nine Yards” and “Sin City” Michael Clarke Duncan is dead leaving behind the memory of a great person, not only actor.

  1. I do not under stand why or even how some one would lie about a persons death can you emagn the feelings they go through when my mom passed away I died too. so to prank a person you should go to prison for ten years.
