The Associated Press reports that Michael Clarke Duncan was hospitalized after suffering a cardiac arrest on early Friday. “The Green Mile” actor’s condition is now stable, according to his reps declarations.

Michael Clarke Duncan was found by his girlfriend, actress Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth in his Los Angeles home. The actress arrived at his home around 2 a.m. and noticed that he was not feeling well, so she revived him by performing CPR. Neither the actress, nor Duncan’s reps confirmed the rumor according to which Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth was the one who helped him recover.

One thing is for sure, the 54-year-old was taken to the nearest hospital in Los Angeles to get medical help. According to doctors, the actor suffered a “myocardial infarction”, but his condition was now stabilized. The medical staff told the press that they were unable to determine the factors that might have led to Duncan’s heart attack, but they will perform various tests and they will closely observe his evolution in the following days.

Michael Clarke Duncan has made a reputation in Hollywood by posing as a tough guy on the outside, but very emotional on the inside. During some of his appearances the actor posed as a tough bodyguard, but started to cry by the end of the movie for an unexpected reason. The actor is encouraged by his colleagues and friends in order to get better. His girlfriend, Omarosa is accompanying him in hospital, but she refused to make any declarations in relation to his condition.
