Marvel has just confirmed that they might have in plans to develop a Black Widow Movie. The famous movie maker has finally answered fans demands to release a female superhero movie. 

So, Marvel Studios might change the way superhero movies have been seen until now. Rumors on the release of a Black Widow movie occurred after a recent interview with Marvel chief Kevin Feige. 

In fact, when being asked about the potential intention that Marvel might have to release such a movie, Feige said that the project is actually very close. Feige went on to explain that they are actively developing a Black Widow movie, potentially starring famous actress Scarlett Johansson, whose performance as the Black Widow was highly appreciated. 

Captain America 2 and the Avengers 2 actually show the need for a Black Widow movie to be out. In fact, Feige claimed that the upcoming movie Avengers: Age of Ultron will even go on to present the original story of the Black Widow. Naturally, this has only confirmed speculation on a possible solo movie. 

The filming for the new Avengers film is set to start at the end of March. As the Marvel chief Kevin Feige said, the Black Widow has a very important part in the film. In fact, her part is “very big. We learn more about her past and learn more about where she came from and how she became who she became in that film,” Feige explained. 

He also added that the “notion of exploring that even further in her own film would be great, and we have some development work with that.”

Actually, for quite some time now, Disney executives have been asked when will the company release a movie that will star a superheroine. Maybe Marvel finally made up their mind for such a new release. 

Even though at this point there are absolutely no details on when this new movie will be released or how far Marvel have advanced with their plans on releasing the new project, the fact that they are considering a Black Widow movie is great news for fans.
