Macaulay Culkin’s father, Kit, is worried that his son might die if he doesn’t seek medical help for his condition. He, too, like the rest of the world did not believe reps’ declarations saying that the actor is healthy. Both he and his wife, Jeanette, think Macaulay is suffering from a disease or from heroin addiction, says the Inquisitr.

After their estrangement in 2004, Kit Culkin didn’t have the chance to talk to his son, Macaulay Culkin. He was, therefore, just as surprised as the rest of the world to see that the cute “Home Alone” star child has turned into a gaunt-faced sloppy adult. The recent photos portraying Macaulay Culkin while being sick on the street were reason enough for Kit to state that his son is definitely going through a rough period.

The fact that he can’t reach out to his son and help him overcome his problems is even more painful to Kit. His wife, Macaulay’s stepmother, Jeanette, told the press that Kit is worried sick about Macaulay, but he can’t talk about the photos because they hurt him too much. He is sure that there’s something wrong with his son because he looks too frail to be healthy.

Kit is not the only one who is worried about the actor’s health. His friends, too, claim the actor is addicted to heroin and to the painkiller Oxycodone. After seeing him take large amounts of drugs, they all urged Macaulay to seek help at a specialized institution. One of the sources stated that Macaulay’s condition will most likely worsen in the next months. He concluded that the artist may not even live until 2013 if he continues to party as much as he does with his junkie friends. 

This is not the first problem that Culkin has had with drugs. In 2004, he was arrested for possession of marijuana and controlled substances, Alprazolam and Clonazepam. He pleaded guilty, so the judges gave him three one-year suspended prison terms and ordered to pay $540 in fees.
