LL Cool J seized an intruder in his Los Angeles home on early Wednesday morning. After brief analyses, investigators discovered that the burglar is a homeless person whose name hasn’t been released to the public, the Associated Press reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department received a phone call from a girl on early Wednesday morning saying that her father seized an intruder in their home. The owner of the house was the famous rapper LL Cool J, who used every method he could find to protect his family from the burglar.
The 44-year-old star seems to have learned a few tricks from his latest role as an agent in the TV show “NCIS: Los Angeles”. He was, thus, able to grab hold of the burglar after physically confronting him in the kitchen. The 58-year-old attacker was taken to the hospital, but he will be arrested on suspicion of burglary as soon as he is released.
Richard French, the spokesperson of the Los Angeles Police Department told reporters that the unidentified man suffered several bruises during the physical confrontation. Later on, however, unnamed sources have stated that the homeless person was taken to the hospital with a broken nose and jaw. French further added that the scene will be investigated in the future to find out how the burglar managed to get inside the walled and gated mansion.
LL Cool J’s publicist, Rhett Usry, released a public statement soon after the police arrived at the rapper’s house. He told the media that the actor and his family were safe and sound despite the attack. In the end, he thanked everyone for the supportive messages they have transmitted to LL Cool J, whose real name is James Todd Smith. The “Mama Said Knock You Out” interpreter, whose main goal is to keep his family safe, will continue to cooperate with authorities on this private matter.
