Whether or not you were a fan of “That ‘70s Show” if you watched at least several episodes you couldn’t have failed to notice the hottie Laurie Forman. You know that annoying, “innocent” hot blonde that wasn’t exactly too well mannered or too patient with men and boys around her. Well, Lisa Robin Kelly, the actress that played Laurie, seems to have had in common with the fictional character quite a number of traits. Last weekend, Lisa Robin Kelly of “That ‘70s Show” got arrested.
Lisa Robin Kelly is now 42 and according to TMZ, at the end of March she was arrested by the Los Angeles police. Allegedly, Lisa Robin Kelly was under arrest for several hours and got out only after paying the bail set for $50,000.
What would you say the reason was? Drink and driving? Possession of some drugs? Public intoxication? If you had your money on any of those you’d lose. But don’t worry, the actual reason took us by surprise too, although when taking a short glimpse at Laurie’s behavior it shouldn’t come as a shock.
According to TMZ, on March 31, Lisa Robin Kelly was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on spousal abuse allegations. John Michas claims Lisa Robin Kelly had allegedly attacked him. But the released mug shot of the actress depicts a horrifying image that spurred countless comments on the Internet.
In her defense, the actress says that John Michas set her up by injuring himself. Apparently the two had a rocky history and when Lisa tried to break things up Michas roughed her up and then left. Meanwhile Lisa called the cops only to find out that her roommate had already told them she attacked him.
If “That 70’s Show” has done a lot for Ashton Kutcher’s career, Lisa wasn’t as lucky. The 42 year old actress hasn’t been working in a while and as she told TMZ all she wants is “start working again”. “I am clean and sober and I have made a lot of progress. I am completely innocent. I weigh 105 pounds. I could never hurt him. I just want to start working again”.
