According to some close friends of famous actress Lindsay Lohan, the star is really engaged to her new boyfriend, Egor Tarabasov. The news was reported by Page Six, which cited some friends of the beautiful actress. The engagement confirmation report comes after a rep for the star denied the claims, saying that Lindsay and Igor are not set to get married.
So, insiders talking to Page Six indicated that Egor proposed to Lindsay with a 5-carat oval emerald ring, an impressive ring that Lindsay actually previously saw at an auction.
The insiders claimed that Egor knew that Lindsay liked the ring, so he just decided to buy it for her. “She was saying how much she loved it and he went back and secretly got it,” the source explained.
The source also said that Egor planned on proposing to his girlfriend for quite some time and he actually wanted to pop the question when they were in New York, with Lindsay’s family. However, he could not wait and he just asked the star to marry him. “She didn’t see it coming,” the source said, so the proposal was a surprise for Lindsay after all.
This is not the first time when it has been claimed that Lindsay and Egor got engaged. So, first rumors actually emerged after Linsday was spotted with what appeared to be an engagement ring, during a Duran Duran concert in New York. Lindsay seemed very happy and of course, she was later on seen with her new ring on various occasions.
Lindsay and Egor reportedly met in London through a mutual friend. Insiders previously said that the star is very happy with the Russian businessman and they are getting along perfectly. “He’s a bit younger than she is, but he’s a very smart businessman. He’s much more mature than his age suggests, and he’s a good influence,” an insider said.
“He is a perfect boyfriend and — as he is quite wealthy — pays for quite a lot of stuff like meals and trips away,” the same source revealed. Sources previously said that Lindsay does not plan on moving away from London and maybe her new boyfriend is one of the reasons that contributed to this decision.
