If Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton were extremely upset with the fact that some nude pictures of themselves have been leaked online, things are getting even worse for the two stars. So, it has been revealed that these nude pictures will actually be featured at an Art Gallery.
So, the hacked nude photos that were posted online this week will be featured in an upcoming art exhibit at The Cory Allen Contemporary Art Showroom in St. Petersburg, Florida. Artist XVALA will be exhibiting the pictures in a new collection titled No Delete.
“This show has been in the works for about two years now,” Cory Allen said according to Fox News. “When this came out…about Jennifer Lawrence [and] Kate Upton, it was the prefect dialogue. It was about invasion of privacy—and [the artist] thought it would be the perfect time to add these as a final installment to [the collection],” the same statement said.
Cory Allen is a rep for the gallery which will expose the work of artist XVALA. He said that XVALA is an artist and he actually thinks that these photos are not just nude pics. They are art and there is no harm in exposing them, the artist believes. His exhibit is about privacy, so these pics will be absolutely perfect. “We’re not posting them… and we don’t see them as photos,” the man said according to Fox.
If they will go on with the project of exposing these pictures, this will actually not be the first time when artist XVALA uses controversial celebrity images in his work. He previously used pictures of Britney Spears and Scarlett Johansson.
However, reps for the two stars claimed that action will be taken against anyone who tries to spread the leaked photos. So, both Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton want the pics to be removed from the Internet, while banning everyone from exposing them in public.
“The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,” a rep for Jennifer Lawrence said. A similar statement was released by a rep for Kate Upton, who said that they intend to “pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible.”
If is yet to see if the artist will use these pictures and what the two actresses think about this.
