From the looks of it, there’s nothing Lady Gaga can’t do. Director Robert Rodriguez announced on Twitter that Lady Gaga is preparing her acting debut in “Machete Kills”.
You don’t have to be a fan of Robert Rodriguez’ work to know he’s got a thing for quite the unusual castings. And what could be more unusual than having Lady Gaga, the Monster Queen, on the set? According to a tweet from the “Machete Kills” director, Lady Gaga has already started work on her acting debut and she’s amazing.
“I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!” reads a very exciting tweet from director Robert Rodriguez.
It took Lady Gaga less than an hour to confirm her acting debut in “Machete Kills”. The Monster Queen’s tweet reads: “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress In the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane”.
Lady Gaga couldn’t have picked a better movie to start her acting career. She plays La Chameleon in Robert Rodriguez’ upcoming flick “Machete Kills”. For the moment there’s no official release date for the movie, but Rodriguez put together quite an impressive cast. It’s basically the sort of casting that spells blockbuster!
It’s likely fans will be thrilled to see the follow up of Rodriguez’ 2012, when it features names such as Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Danny Trejo, Alex Vega, Amber Heard and Zoe Saldana. Obviously, Lady Gaga tops a breathtaking casting. Oh, and let’s not forget Robert Rodriguez chose Charlie Sheen to play the U.S. president in his upcoming movie.
By the way, rumor has it Mel Gibson might be getting a part too. Both Deadline.com and The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed Mel Gibson’s association with “Machete Kills”.
All in all, it is one hell of a movie Lady Gaga chose for her acting debut. The Monster Queen already had her own poster made and she looks deadly hot as La Chameleon holding a smoking gun and wearing a wolf fur.
