Second time mom is making the most of her time with Penelope Scotland Disick, her baby daughter. In an exclusive interview with Us Magazine, Kourtney Kardashian revealed birth details, talked about gaining 45 pounds during pregnancy and how Scott Disick’s doing as a father.
Unlike her sister Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian obviously has different priorities in life, and that’s mostly her family. The 33-year-old reality TV star just became a mom for the second time. Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to Penelope Scotland Disick on July 8th at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Like any Hollywood mom, part of the duties is not only changing diapers, but giving interviews and losing the baby weight. Kourtney Kardashian told Us Magazine she gained almost 45 pounds during her pregnancy. “I’m 5 feet tall, so that’s a lot” said the new mom, but added she’s not really thinking about the 45 pregnancy weight pounds.
For the moment, Kourtney Kardashian’s plan to lose those 45 pounds of baby weight is to simply eat healthy. “While I’m here around the house, I just eat healthy” she said. A-list Hollywood moms will throw a hissy fit over that. For instance, Beyonce was back to her sexy body a month later after she gave birth.
Kourtney Kardashian also told Us Magazine how the birth of her baby daughter went along. She said she pulled out Penelope Scotland just like she did with her oldest child, Mason. “I did!” answered Kardashian when asked if she pulled out Penelope too.
“She was coming out, and I was thinking, I should pull her. With Mason, I had no idea I was going to do that. This time, I thought, ‘This is what I’m supposed to do” the 33-year-old mother of two explained.
The proud father, Scott Disick, added it’s a technique everybody grew fond of. “Our doctor has grown fond of that maneuver, and we’re fond of it too” the 29-year-old said.
Asked whether Penelope’s birth will be televised, Kourtney Kardashian said: “I don’t know yet. We taped it with our cameras, and Scott was taping some of it on his iPad”.
But one thing is for sure, Kourtney Kardashian loves being a mom. She confessed that when she first saw Penelope’s “little” she became very excited. “She has the Kardashian eyelashes” added the proud mother.
