You’d think celebrities would invest some of their impressive paychecks in keeping their home at risk from fire, floods and other in – house calamities. And I’m not talking about home insurance. Well, at least the Roswell Fire Department got an opportunity to ask Kim Zolciak for an autograph, after they’ve dealt with her fire emergency.
TMZ reports that Kim Zolciak had quite an unusual Wednesday morning. Instead of doing whatever the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star does for breakfast, Kim Zolciak found herself in quite a hairy situation. The star’s garage went up in smoke and flames after an ATV somehow caught fire.
A spokesperson for the Roswell Fire Department told TMZ the emergency call was received at 9:35 AM. A fire truck was sent to Kim Zolciak’s house and the ATV fire was extinguished without any record of injury or other damage.
Kim Zolciak was so impressed with the performance of the Roswell Fire Department she made it sure everyone will know about it. She took her praises to Twitter. Her post reads: “Shout out to Roswell Fire Dept for their quick response this morning”.
The truth is that the ATV that caught on fire could have caused a lot of damage. Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy Biermann (eight years his junior) live with the kids in a rented property. Earlier this year, in March, the couple said they’re planning to buy the property. Its listing price is a bit over $3.2 million.
Furthermore, had the fire caught on to the rest of the house, Kim would have found herself in a messy situation. She’s got quite a lot on her plate right now. The star of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is pregnant with the couple’s second child, but it’s her fourth time being a mom. The 34-year-old has two daughters from her previous marriage to Dan Toce.
Kim’s pretty busy with her career too. The most recent episode of her new reality show “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” had 1.3 million viewers. But even if the new show is a success, Kim is determined not to leave her first love: “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. In April, she dismissed rumors about her leaving the show on Twitter: “I will be returning to RHOA sooo don’t believe the BS!!”
