As curious as we might be about Keira Knightley’s wedding date, we’re going to have to wait. In a recent interview about her new movie “Anna Karenina”, Keira Knightley says she loves being engaged, but planning the wedding will have to wait.
Keira Knightley and James Righton got engaged earlier this year, after one year of dating. In the meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress began work on her latest movie “Anna Karenina”, which is keeping her so busy she’s doesn’t have the time to plan her wedding. So for now, Keira Knightley is just enjoying being engaged to her Klaxons keyboardist boyfriend.
Last Friday, while on “Good Morning America”, Keira Knightley confessed she can’t stop looking at her engagement ring. “It’s the engagement shuffle. It’s a lovely ring, isn’t it?” she added. The engagement ring was estimated at $40,000 by jewelry experts. Michael O’Connor told US Weekly the “solid platinum band with a brilliant cut solitaire diamond” is “truly the most classic of all engagement ring styles”.
They might look like they’ve been speeding through their relationship up to the engagement, but from now on Keira Knightley and James Righton are taking things slower. Well…at least until they find the time to plan the wedding. “We’re both working too hard, so I’m just enjoying this bit” Keira Knightley said of her engagement.
“He can turn into this lovestruck puppy around her” a source told Us Weekly. “Honestly, they’re good for each other. They love being engaged”.
In the meanwhile, Keira Knightley is busy promoting her new movie, “Anna Karenina”. Directed by Joe Wright and staring Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the movie is already being praised for the amazing set. The Hollywood Reporter writes that the set for “Anna Karenina” is estimated at $50 million, since the director decided to shoot the movie in a Russian theater.
“The action would be taking place within a beautiful decaying theater which in itself would be omnipresent, a metaphor for Russian society of the time as it rotted from the inside” director Joe Wright explained.
