David and Victoria Beckham are by far one of the most envied power couple ever and tabloid media just threw at them an affair controversy. Katherine Jenkins and David Beckham are rumored to have had an affair.
Obviously, both David and Victoria Beckham have denied any affair rumor. The British Telegraph says a phony magazine cover made the affair rumor go viral, but tabloid media argues the power couple took a tight injunction claim to keep everything secret. Katherine Jenkins just brought attention to the matter again after she denied having an affair with David Beckham on Twitter.
“Unfortunately, we have to deal with this type of nonsense on Twitter” a spokesman for David Beckham told E! News. “One minute David is dead, then the more scurrilous rumors, there is no truth to any of it” he added of David Beckham’s alleged affair with Katherine Jenkins.
“Dear Twitter friends, I’ve read some horrible rumors on here & want u 2 know I absolutely deny I’ve had an affair with David Beckham” said the 32-year-old Welsh singer. “The rumors are very hurtful, untrue & my lawyers tell me actionable” Katherine Jenkins added.
The 32-year-old singer says she has been receiving death threats because of the rumors saying she’s the woman David Beckham is cheating on the Posh Spice. The Sun writes one Twitter user threatened he would “cut” Katherine Jenkins if the affair will lead to a divorce in the Beckham family.
“I’ve only met David twice: once at the Military Awards in 2010 & on a night out in the West End in Feb 2012. We were out in a group of friends & it was just a normal fun evening out” ” said Katherine Jenkins. “Just so we are clear I have never been on my own with him and never arranged to meet up” Katherine Jenkins told her fans on Twitter as she was denying affair rumors.
According to Daily Mail, Victoria Beckham is slightly amused by the rumored affair David Beckham had with Katherine Jenkins. “Victoria understand why Katherine would want to defend herself against these allegations” a source told the Daily Mail.
