The royal family prepares to celebrate the birthday of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who will turn 30 on Monday. Although her fans were hoping to witness another lavish party, the royal family told reporters at the Associated Press that they will make a quiet celebration among the members of the family.
The news was received with sadness by the majority of the media because everyone was praying for another subject to be discussed on national channels for days on end. Kate Middleton herself told the press in a previous interview that she plans to mark the milestone through a fun ’80s themed party to recall her bachelorette days, but then she changed her mind. Maybe is just the depression that everybody goes through when they turn 30. Or maybe she just realized her chances of becoming Queen of England are getting smaller and smaller with each celebration. We figure it’s a common thing among some members of the royal family.
Depression or not, Kate never ceases to surprise fashion critics every time she makes a public appearance. The Duchess and her husband attended the Sunday premiere of the movie “War Horse” which was held in London. She chose to wear a sexy, floor-length lace dress that suited her very well.
The event was important for the royal family because the premiere benefited the “Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry”. Many celebrities were present at the launching of the “War Horse”. The royal couple was able to change a few words with director Steven Spielberg and to get familiar with the cast of the movie, including star Jeremy Irvine.
The members of the royal family are pleased with Kate’s evolution. They stated that the Duchess successfully performed all her royal duties since she tied the knot with Prince William last year. In the future, the 30-year-old Duchess will have to get more involved in the fulfillment of the royal duties. In 2012, Kate is supposed to help organize the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and play a supporting role at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
