Kanye West is allegedly working at a new project. The star, who is well-known for his involvement in the fashion world and his clothing collection, seems to have a new plan. So, Kanye plans on launching a new makeup brand under the name Donda.

Well, Kanye is not the only one in the family with interests in this domain. Actually, his upcoming collection will be in direct completion with Kylie Jenner’s makeup collection. Kylie is Kanye’s sister-in-law, as she is the younger sister of the rapper’s famous wife, Kim Kardashian. The news was first reported by TMZ, which claimed that Kanye has already started working at his beauty brand.

TMZ claimed that the star has started the legal proceedings to open a new business focused on makeup products. The documents reveal that the business will produce makeup, perfumes, lotions and cosmetics under the brand Donda. Allegedly, the name choice has a special meaning for Kanye, being a homage to his late mother. Kanye’s mom passed away in 2007.

Kanye also wants to have a wider use of this name, so he filed for a patent at the United States Patent and Trademark office. Kanye trademarked the word for use on all beauty products and other related products. TMZ claimed that Kanye may also be thinking about releasing a fashion line under this name and he will actually have no problem in doing so, as the rapper decided to trademark the brand for use on bags, clothing and jewelry.

Kanye West has surely had a very busy beginning of the year. The star has recently presented his fifth Yeezy collection at the New York Fashion Week, which he attended alongside his famous family. His wife was also there and Kim later on took to Twitter to praise her husband and reveal how proud she was of his work.
