Pop sensation Justin Bieber is ready to take the paternity test even if Maria Yeater, the young woman who, more than two weeks ago, was claiming he was the father of her four-month-old baby, has recently dropped the case.
Just when we were glad that Justin Bieber is no longer the center of a paternity scandal, the singer wants to continue feeding the press with some more stuff on the subject. Apparently, he wants to prove his fans and, actually, everybody, that he was telling the truth from the start and is ready to prove it. His reps told Us Weekly that the music star already has an appointment to the doctors. “He’s ready to take a paternity test, at any moment, Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager said on Thursday to Maria Menounos, the Extra host. “We have one scheduled for tomorrow”, he added. Braun also implied that they will go ahead with the lawsuit against Yeater, for false allegations. “We’ve never even seen the lawsuit, but we’re going to just get ahead of this thing and go right after it. I think it’s important to hold people accountable for their actions.
21-year-old Mariah Yeater has silently dropped her lawsuit a few days ago and her lawyers withdrew from the case. Her allegations were that in late October 2010, she and Justin Bieber hooked up after one of his concerts. According to her, he had told her it was his first time, it lasted just a few seconds and they did not use protection. Nine months later little Tristyn was born and Yeater wanted Bieber to take the DNA test, recognize the child as his own and pay alimony.
Since the beginning, Bieber has denied the allegations, saying that he “never met the woman”, but in order to get his image cleaned, he was willing to take the paternity test and then to proceed filing a lawsuit against Yeater.
